The only candidate race for this November election was canceled due to changes over the last few days. Here is what happen:

Moyie Springs Mayor Steve Economu resigned on Tuesday stating health issues. This allowed Councilman Geoff Hollenbeck through a quorum vote to take the Mayor’s seat.

Since there were only three candidates for the two Council seats (Hollenbeck was one) this gave Patrick Stevens an automatic entrance to sit on the Council.

Since the Moyie Springs Council was the only ballot measure the voters of Boundary County will not be having an election this November.
